Counselling with Liz

Hi, I am Liz, a person-centred counsellor, I am White, Scottish, Neurotypical and Cisgender.

As a person, I work inclusivley with everyone from all different backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations, gender identities and neurodiversities.

I am trained to work with children, young people and adults and have an integrative approach to working with difference. This means I work with individual needs and preferences, collaborating to find what works for you.

I wonder what you would like to change in your life?

Sometimes we get stuck! With unhelpful thoughts, overwhelming feelings and emotions or problems and issues. They feel huge and we become trapped in a cycle of believing this is me, this is it, it's never going to change or be different. I can't change or be different. We believe when we tell ourselves, I cant do that! I'm not good at that! This is never going to change!

We want things to be different but.....howdo I do that?

Who do we turn to when we just need to talk, find a solution or understand what our feelings and emotions are telling us.

At Meaningful Connections, I offer you the chance to talk, to make sense of those unhelpful thoughts and to explore the overwhelming feelings and emotions that are telling you, something is hard in your life at the moment. Exploring what has happened or what is currently going on. To break the cycle of believing, this is me, this is it, to make a change.

You are not who you think you are, I know you are so much more!
